Wow another gardener!!! Your flowers are beautiful! My yard looks like yours for about 3 months then the Texas summer puts it into retreat. If I could get tech support(my daughter) over I would put some pictures up. Love the roses, I have 16 bushes out back. Yours look much happier.lol>^..^<

Thanks. Yea they are hard work. My yard is a bitch to upkeep but it is worth it. I also have 8 tall evergreens not sure exactly what kind but they look kinda like a smaller version of a redwood.

My husband does a lot of our work. I've developed a sun allergy*bummer*I do the buying and the planning, he's the muscle! My Maples are finally providing shade, that helps everybody. I've got a nice Grape Arbor where I practice my Craft, my husband doesn't want it done in the house. I've had a lot of success with Clementis Vines, it took 2 years for them to get established. As I said your yard is beautiful.>^..^<

i love the roses too. i wish i could put a pic up of my ROZILLA!!!! i call him, yes him, ROZILLA, because after 3 months being put into the ground at roughly a 2ft starter bush, he reached over 15 ft tall. no joking.... i trimmed him back and then he grew another 3 ft, and added some branches. ROZILLA was pretty much a rose tree.

He has a tendancy to prune things to death til you have nothing left but a shadow of what once was. My poor hedges last spring were reduced to fall like barity. If he does anything at all it is only clean up from my pruning or cleaning up of pine needles that fall from the evergreens.

The whole FREAKIN back yard is the tree! It bites too!
