No. I dont see the problem with enjoying yourself. Isnt it a christian rule that you are not to have sex before marriage? Or is this a global thing?

Personally I think it goes more toward maturity than any religious teachings. Having sex is a big step and I believe teens should be prepared for the consequences. I have the highest regards for the countries that have a logical, non-religious, honest attitude toward sex education such as Norway, Sweden, etc. - they have the lowest teen pregnancies and abortions. Sex is a human drive, no different than any other human drive and making it "bad" is, IMO, not the way to handle it, as the statistics show.

well I waited until I was 18, which is the technical age of maturity to handle those types of decisions. I do think I was mature. I really liked the girl ... blah blah (you like how I boiled all other reasons down to "blah blah"?) Most of all, though, I don't regret it. I regret having such a long relationship with the girl because she had so much emotional baggage, but I don't regret her stealing my precious virginity.
and the whole Christian thing is about consummating the marriage because you become one flesh. Pre-marital sex is an abomination!! It is an unsanctified union!! Fire and brimstone! There are other reasons listed in the good book, but I can't list them all off the top of my head. I've never been much of a "rule" kind of guy.

Well, when you get right down to it, it has only been the last 100 years or so that marriage has become a union based on "love" rather than "money". Arranged marriages (even here in the USA) were the norm, so marriage until recently was almost always more about business, at least IMHO. (And still is in many parts of the world.)

Depends, I think Brigids priestesses would stay virgins as long as the tended the sacred flame, the priestess of Diana too I think. It just depends on what part of the sociaty you came from I suppose. ;D

I didn't wait until I was married, hey, I am 34 and still not married, it would have been a bloody long wait for me, LOL. But jokes aside, I am very proud to say that I have only ever slept with two people in my life. Not because I am uptight or repressed or anything like that. I have been in love twice, it's as simple as that. I met Bill when I was 17 and we fell in love, we had a child together, and we were together for 12 years before we split. A while after that, I met Jay we fell in love and have been together for the past 5 years. Its that simple. I am not judging anyone who has 10, 20, 30 or more lovers in their life, everyone does what is right for them, and this has been right for me. All I say is, if you want to sow your wild oats, lol, be careful, and be responsible. Oh dear I sound like everyones mum now

You just don't do anything until you feel your ready. It's true we're only "young-n-wild" once. However by the same token theres really no need to live everyday like it will be your last either.
