I couldnt think of the way i was trying to explain my use of drugs in words till Senbecc said it lol.
I never "abuse" the drugs i have used. I use them on rare occasions. I dont get hungover when i use it as i know how to use Marijuana and Mushrooms with out wrecking myself.
My friends and I are kind of "hippies," I dont know how to explain it. We just lay back in the grass in the mountains or woods and just relax. Ive never had a bad experience when using the drugs, in fact some of my best and happiest memories are from those times with my friends.
I would never use a drug though like heroine where you have to inject it. I only use leaves and plants as it is natural.

Yes, i have taken drugs, and yes, i regret it. It was mainly marijuana. I tried ecstasy once and i'd had some of a friends marijuana and it was laced with something weird.. i never found out what it was.. I don't do drugs anymore. A day of being high is not worth the brain cells you lose.. do you think its better to have experienced that, and know that it is bad, than have not to at all? Yeah, i guess so..

Yeah, you have a point there.. i always thought i was going to have it easy when it came to the drug part of my parenting. but lately i have been thinking, what if its better to come from experience? rather than the non-experience? how did your parents talk to you about it? my mother did drugs alot, and she always said dont do it but if you do be safe? how damn confusing.

Lol yeah, that would be very confusing.. My mum never gave me the drug talk... When she found out she just said she'd prefer if i did it with her than if i did it on the streets where i was likely to be raped or something. There is one thing though, when she found out she wanted me to stop, so she was going to take me to see people that had drug caused problems... she didnt in the end, thankfully.. i didnt and still don't want to see..
Lol sorry if i'm not making much sense.. its late here.. or erm early i should say..

My parents, back there in the dark ages, were pretty cool about it. They never said "don't do it", but they made it VERY CLEAR to me if I did anything and got caught that they would not be coming to bail me out of jail! That really made me think twice before doing anything ... it was the main threat that worked on me, the threat of no help.

haha my mom and dad found out that I did marijuana. It was rough. My mom was asking if I needed to be sent to Parkwood or Lakeside or something. She was always the one to overreact. My dad ended up handling it pretty well, though. We talked afterwards and I tried to explain about the effects and how it was ok and it didn't do what my mom thought it did ... he stopped me from going any further (he does that a lot). He told me that he didn't care about any of that. It was illegal and that's all there was to it. It didn't matter what it did, why I was using it, or what I believed. It's against the law.

And I am of the firm belief that it should not be illegal! IMO, as long as alcohol is legal, marijuana should be legal.

Yes, I do. We would have the same problems that we have with alcohol, but if pot were legal, or at least de-criminalized as it is in Canada, we would see a huge drop in criminal activity and a big drop in jail/prison population. Plus it would be regulated and sold with taxation, bringing much needed cash to the govenrment coffers.

There was actually serious talk about making pot legal until recently. Malboro had a whole campaign for "Malboro Greens", but then some study was done at Ole Miss (the school I'm attending at the moment) ... it was turned down. Personally, I think it's because Ole Miss wants to keep a monopoly on marijuana since it owns one of the only two legal fields in the country (which is about 200 yds. from where I'm sitting right now).

And every once in a while they cull the fields and burn the pot .... MAKE SURE YOU ARE SITTING DOWNWIND!

I agree with moonwind. I can understand why the harder drugs are illegal but with the likes of marijuana, if alchohol is legal then it should be to.
Strangely enough the first time i got stoned was with my dad lol. It was passivly though. We where at an Iron Maiden concert and everyone around us was smoking it and we got some strong effects of it lol.
