i HATE my school. it is a posh, catholic, girls school, and everyone is mean and bitchy, and we have to be christian until year 11, and go to school masses, and they pride themselves on the fact that they give us the most homework than any other schools in the area, and they do more math, english and science, and we only get 45 minutes a wekk on art, 45 mins on music, and the teachers think school is a place to 'fit in and conform' rather than be individual and express yourself, and the head teacher is a nazi facist distator. that was one big long sentence.

haha I'm in college now. I'm a junior. I'm not sure how school years work everywhere else, but around here we have kindergarden, 5 years of elementary school, 3 years of middle school, 4 years of high-school, and usually 4 years of college. I'll be doing 4 years of college plus an extra semester, a semester of EMT training (emergency medical technician), 3 years of med-school, about 4 years of residency, and then a doctor! Oh, and I've had no summers for the past few years since I've spent them in school, it's technically optional ... but I don't know anyone that hasn't had to do it to graduate even near on time.
I like it, I suppose. I haven't known anything else since I was 5. I'm in no real position to judge.

yeah, and my friends say that it is a posh school and im one of the poshest, i was like WHAT? there is still pathetic gossip, and the most kind people in my class still believe the gossip, like there is this one girl, and they all think she is a psyco-nutcase, and i tried to be kind to her, but she is really unpleasent to people who are nice to her, so i gave up. it is sad, though.

my school in yr 7 u get 1 1/2 hours of homework every night, in year 8, 2 hours of hmwk each night and yr 9 and upwards, u get 2 1/2 hours of hmwk each night. it is really annoyin, and the teachers say pretentios and meaningless things like 'we pride ourselves on the fact that we are a good, hardworking, CATHOLIC school, with little time to waste on meaningless subjects like the arts.' and; ' school is not a place for creativity and expressing yourself, it is for math, english and sciencs, because we have the best sat scores and the second best ofsted report in london, because we cheat on answers and pump our pupils with more sat subjects, because we MUST keep up our reputation as a good, catholic school, so full uniform, and no buying hot food in the street, and no skirts past knee length.'

That sounds a bit over the top, my school is ok for the arts we do school productions and stuff, although we did Joseph last time lol. But it seems a bit mean to say its not for creativity, I think thats a key part to educational development! xxx

Hang in there all. I made it through 12 years of SMALL Catholic schools, was an altar boy and a lectern. I'm still scrathing my head as to how I managed to turn out.
