Lala has expressed some difficulty in reading for herself, so I decided to try a three weavers spread for her, but next time I think I'm going to try a Druid's spread or a free throw to try to get a more specific reading. Anyway here goes, hope you like it.
Lala's past- Enlightenment
Coll or hazel decided to represent Lala's past. It was an interesting Ogham to draw actually knowing what I know about you now. Coll is speaking to me of an 'Apprenticeship' it seems. However as you've come to discover I think, mentors can come in a myriad of forms and touch our lives in a myriad of ways. Some are positive, some not so positive, but all are educational. What Coll is suggesting here I think is that the past has been a kind of building time, one that you purposely deeply personalized and nearly keeping secret, so as not to loose heart and become discouraged by the ridicule of others who didn't think the same or perhaps simply wouldn't understand. However such people shouldn't be gotten angry at...They are to be pitied. So quietly you drew from outside sources and acquired knowledge's and wisdom's vital to your material and spiritual growth and centers of being. At times in your attempts to 'crack the shell' must have seemed like hours spent in fruitless pursuit due to personal set-backs, trying to hard, and taking to heart the cruel words as well as intentions of others, My belief is that it was these things which had you lashing out against others. Like staring into a mirror trying to pierce it's depths, suddenly realizing that all the while the self had been one with the light and the shadow of wisdom the entire time, and from there entering the mysteries of the great wisdom keepers as the shell finally fell from the nut without effort.
Coll/Hazel IMO is a good representative for Lala's past, it speaks of you as though you sit at a great river bank, drawing from the waters of wisdom, which are fed by the many speckled springs of knowledge. It has been strength, tempered by wisdom which has shown you the silence beyond the western stars.
Lala's present- Tenacity (lol who' da thunk?)
Gort, or Ivy is the representative of Lala's present affairs. In many ways this is another good Ogham for you Lala. It speaks of tenacity, and the raw instinct of survival which wins over circumstances, and establishes roots in even the most rocky, and uninhabitable of places. Look at Ivy as one of the trees for example, it can be found through out the world in nearly any environment, from buildings to trees. Ivy as an Ogham tells me of your durability for first and foremost Ivy is a survivor, just like you. Like Ivy this Ogham shows your ability to adapt to any situation, even the rockiest, and still sprout the greenest of leaves by forming a symbiotic relationship with those who you are attached, thus finding the smiles, energies, and laughter for any who need them even in your own darkest times.
When Ivy attaches it's self it uses minimal advantages to support it's own needs, thus this Ogham tells me that you have, or are learning to make good use of what you have to work with, or even what you happen to find laying around, even when such things seem to have no possible use at the time, but sometimes sheer force to the situation can create the conditions you need to flourish. Ivy windes and twists upwards, mimicking the spiral dances of creation, from the tiniest strand of DNA, to the twisting of Galaxies, it embodies the primal, and powerful forces of creation that the Celts so reveared. It speaks to me of the creation of growth, and the endurance that may in time be required to achieve it.
Lala's future- Challenge upside-down
Tinne or Holly will be the representative of Lala's future. However Tinne is speaking/warning from a reversed stand point. It seems to be warning you of hard times ahead, and the description isn't pretty. Blow after blow warns Holly, strength being unable to withstand the many attacks received. Emotionally it could become a 'slash and burn' scenario. This Ogham is a warning that you will want to get out of the situation as quickly as you possibly can. If you should find for what ever reason you can't defend a position, or are flanked, then you will need to allow yourself to retreat in order to pick yourself back up and allow time to restrengthen your resolve and coming back stronger than before.
Lala's over all reading- Spiritedness
Over-all Lala you're represented by Eadha or the Aspen tree. it seems you are afraid of something, you have a strong fear of something that you think may manifest and suffer it in silence, but at some point Aspen says the fear will need to be confronted. This may come to be a rough trial, but you will emerge stronger and wiser for having faced it. Aspen is the 'quivering' tree, and fear can take the same effect on us that the wind has on the Aspen. Fear can shut us down and robbing us of the freedom of action, though more often than not our fear in-and-of it's self is far worse than whatever it is we're afraid of. Draw then from your past, let fear become another one of those mentors as it will highlight personal weaknesses, and show you where you can be strengthened.
Aspen speaks to you of a conquest of fear, which will involve embracing persona darkness and the shadows of the spirit, just as we so often see in the hero's quests of ancient lore, or the Shaman's journey into frightening other worlds and realities in order to retrieve wholeness and healing for the entire clan. In these ways fear becomes an alley in personal growth, in the word Ogham of Oengus for example it becomes another word for friend. Aspen tells me that perhaps it is time for to try looking at what ever it is you're afraid of from some other more enlightening angles.
I hope the reading made since to Lala, I'll be happy to explain in further detail if you have question.
