Hey guys, I'm sorry to bother you but I'm hoping to be the recipient of positive energy. Illistyl & I just got an eviction notice for being a day late on rent. (prior two years were really rough & we were late on a few rents). So now, I have to wait til the 5th to talk to the office to see what is going to happen. It may be a formality & when I get paid on Friday, we'll be ok (hopefully not late again on rent!). We were hoping to move before December (when our lease was up) but not through eviction (other places usually don't take a liking to that!) I'm kind of down because the job I have is fairly decent ($13/hr) with a $4 hour differential bonus because I work 9:30am to 6:00pm & the benefits are through the roof....Yet this kind of puts me in a scared position because we'd have no way of getting into another place.
So, if you wouldn't mind if you could give a little tiny moment to get us through this? It's very much appreciated.....
Thank you kindly, Blessed Be

Thank you! I appreciate it. Well, the update is that we may not be evicted if we can come up with the $$$ before the eviction date of the 11th. Easy enough, if this is true as my paycheck comes in tomorrow & it is enough $$$ to cover that.... *gives Lala a big bear hug

I'm glad things are working out! They usually don't want to pay to evict you, so most of the time they'll work with you. I know this because someone I work with is late with his rent every month! if he wasn't late I'd be shocked!!! >^-.-^<

Thanks, guys. Sad thing, is that this from our previous issues (we were late on rent for 4 months last year about this time). So, when I got hired, I got paid for 3 weeks because the company I now work for pays bi-weekly. So, I've been wanting to move to a better place (better neighborhood). Hopefully, we can before our lease is up in December. I found out that they won't evict you if you pay prior to the date that is listed on the eviction notice. Up to that point, I was worried...now, I just want to get a nice townhouse to rent & begin anew..... There is a reason I loved being here.....*gives group hug*

Well, we are safe for now. Working on that other place to live. As it turns out, the section I work in is probably going to be moved from the building it's in. Apparently, they had consultants come in to see what we do & how much space we need. They stretched the number we work in to 2000 sq. ft....They determined that the area we'd need is 8000 sq ft. So, they might move us away from the company & have our own place. What this means is I may not be able to walk to work (like I have for the last year). This means that moving is more of a reality. The biggest reason I was living here was that I didn't need a car to go to work....I guess that may be scrapped....So, hopefully, we can find a townhouse or our own house in which to live (I'd rather the house (they are sooo cheap up here!)....Thanks much! *gives another group hug

get a two family and I'd love to go back north! Glad to hear that things are looking up. Take care of yourselves, try not to worry, and things usually work out for the best.

Absolutely would do that if I could!!! Renting a townhouse is the next step up for us (I think). From there, we'll work out how to get a house. As far as being up here, we need more people that are true people. I don't like Manch-Vegas much (A nick-name given but all non-Manchester residents in NH). Anywhere outside of this city seems very nice....we'll be working on geting outside of the city asap!

I LOVED Bristol (didn't want to leave but couldn't find housing after my then 2 y/o daughter tested positive for lead poisoning. We lived in what was an old brothel ), but it's a little remote. Franklin/Tilton is a nice compromise. Hope you can escape soon, Manchester is very rough for me. More positive energy sent

We will be getting another eviction notice on August 3rd but I will be paying that rent ON that day so we should be fine. After that, I think we should be looking in the right direction *crosses-fingers*
