Sure once you're bled dry and ready for the funny farm and this is why mommy takes breaks. maybe not to las vegas everytime....but definitely breaks. Even away for a few hours(hell minutes some days) really makes a difference. Don't want momma going postal ;D "Momma ain't happy....Ain't nobody happy" lol

i was thinking motherhood too, but the kids give back tenfold. I don't think motherhood is selfless at all. Tell me that the idea of unconditional love isn't a selfish reason. How many women do y'all know that have had a child, at least partially, in the hopes of getting their man more commited to them? Motherhood could be selfless I suppose but I have yet to see it done in a completely selfless manner. And then there is simply satisfying our own urge to procreate. It's really rather selfish when you start looking at all the varied reasons women have children. I agree with you, to an extent... Some women, not all use children and pregnancy as a way to hold onto men... That doesnt' mean that all do... Though I will say this... I don't think that Mother Hood could ever be considered to be a self-less act... You have children to make a family, carry on a name or blood line.... Because you've always dreamed of being a mother... etc.. The reasons may vary, But, it is a selfish act.... Choosing to bring children into the world is selfish... I would see the self-less... In people who are completely able to naturally have children of their own, and opting instead, to adopt.....
