I've only just finished this one, so my apologies if its not as well done as the others.
Ragnorak
I hear the snap of Loki’s chains,
The howl of Fenris on a cold winter night,
The sound of some great serpent beneath the waves,
And I know that Ragnorak has arrived.
The Final Battle is upon us, and all know its outcome,
For we are destined to battle and perish,
The Rainbow Bridge shattered beneath us,
And all the Nine Worlds aflame.
Victory is beyond us, defeat is certain,
Is there reason for us to fight for a doomed cause?
The only fruit of this battle shall be doom,
And my blade quivers in uncertainty
As I see Loki’s armies making their way forward.
But as I hear the call to arms of the All-Father,
The peal of Heimdalls horn,
Thor’s thunder of challenges without fear,
I find myself roaring with them, and ready.
The enemy is met, the cries of war filling the air,
As men and monsters, gods and giants,
Meet in the Greatest of all Battles.
The Final War.
Ragnorak.
There shall be no Valkyries to lift us from the field today,
And the blood of battle on our blades shall never again dry,
Yet we fight onwards without fear of what we know shall come,
Singing songs of honor and glory, songs we shall never sing again.
Then end is drawing close, for nearby I see great Odin fall by Fenris,
And I weep for him, the father of us all, and fight that much harder.
In the distance I watch as Thor and Jormungandr fall by one another,
And I shout in praise of Thor, who has died with honor and glory.
Before us all Loki, he who brought this grim fate upon us, meets his foe,
And finds his equal in Heimdall as they fall together as one.
The end is so near now, the taste of death already upon our lips,
And we fight harder than ever, dancing the bloody dance of war.
I cheer as Vidar tears Fenris’s throat asunder in the distance,
Avenging our fallen Father whom we shall soon join.
Men and monsters, gods and giants,
Meet in the Greatest of all Battles.
The Final War.
Ragnorak.
It is upon us now, for the skies rage suddenly with flames
As Surtr hefts the Sword of Revenge to end it all,
Forever.
We fight on still even as all the Nine Worlds burn about us,
Even as all that exists scorches and crumbles around us.
And as the flames finish their deadly work,
And at last the battle is at its fateful end,
We go into the darkness with our honor still,
Singing and laughing even as we die.
The howl of Fenris on a cold winter night,
The sound of some great serpent beneath the waves,
And I know that Ragnorak has arrived.
