Ogham calligraphy from Scotland It says "The final reality that is accessible to human thought is infinite, eternal and without structure or purpose. It is indifferent to our conduct. We are divided from it by our finitude from which structure and purpose arise. These truths glorify or annihilate according to how our thoughts and actions have led us to apprehend them."

Dia dhuit!
Very interesting, I'm glad you decided to share this here with us.
To me the study of Ogham use is one way a Druid strives to understand these infinite realms, truths, and realities. Such things start from within IMO, and expand and ever evolve in a personal quest for knowledge and wisdom, not unlike the ever expanding universe. I have come to consider that all things experience these transformations in being and non-being. Just as a human child in gestation mimics every level of evolution from single cell all the through human.
It is then within this creation of self that we find paths to be followed, and through these paths we find structure and purpose, and seek those of like mind to both shape the self and help shape others realities.
It would be interesting to see a study of Scottish Ogham brought to PaganMystics. I hope to see more of your thoughts!
Slán agus beannacht leat!

I assume this is read north-south rather than east-west? Also, if this is true, isn't that similar to Japanese & Chinese writing?

How is that ogham?? It looks nothing like it. 1. What Ogham are you talking about? 2. What's with the attitude? This is a place for sharing information and ideas, if you disagree with anything that's posted here. please, feel free to correct it. That being said, give us examples, sources, etc. Perhaps this is something that you may not be familiar with, but, I don't care for the attitude in response to peoples sharing.

I will admit that I have never seen this form of Ogham either, though I do know that the Scots used a variation of them as well, I will need to look into it a bit more and see what I can find on it.
