OK, lets switch the topic...Shake things up a bit. Keep it educational...How did you meet your animal totems and how have they touched you?

Party pooper...
I was sitting in my yard, my heart and mind open to what my name might be. A tiny gray wren landed on my birdbath, the first I'd ever seen in my own yard. She immediately began to sing looking right at me. Ever since, when faced with choices, wrens always appear when I settle on a decision, to let me know it is the right path to take.
Turtle came to me as a child. Then, again, this summer as I was studying my online course. Then, I received a gift of turtle shell shaman's rattles in September, before I knew I would actually someday tie them to my ankles and dance!
Wolf has always been a strong draw for me, appearing in many of my stories. I have a wolf's perfume locket that i put scented oils in for aromatherapy.
Dragonflies are always around me, a symbol of transcendence.
Butterfly came to me all summer, as I was 'becoming' the me I am now.
