Pel?! Been a Looonnnggggg time buddy! Where ya been? Well I've switched schools and majors. I'm now going to the University of Memphis and majoring in Anthropology. I'm a lot happier than I was a year ago. The only downside is there is a good deal of reading and a number of papers. I'll probably be on here on a sporadic basis, but I'm doing my best to get back into the swing of things. I'm glad to see that we've grown so much. I look forward to getting to know all the new faces. -Pel Sporadic or not it is good to see you back on the boards, I like having some of the old faces back around!

I just joined, so I'm a little late on this topic, but thought I'd share how I "got" my craft name. I did a self-initiation and during it, a certain large bird flew overhead. This was at my house, and this bird is NOT one that I've ever seen there before. It rather shocked me to see it. I realized that this probably meant something and, seeing as I was in the middle of this whole initation thing, I decided to make this bird or some aspect of it my magickal name. I looked up information on it and ended up choosing part of its taxonomic name. I use it sparingly, not often online (only in local Pagan groups with people I know personally). In all other online dealings I primarily use Chiawana, which is near and dear to me because it's one of the NAtive American names for the Columbis River. Being a Washington state native, the Columbia River is very important to me. I also find it unique enough that people know who I am when I use it.

I'm happy to report that I have recieved my third name, Stormbringer. So it's __________ Phoenix Stormbringer. I recieved it during the recent Equinox/Full Moon time. I hope this is the end of it, I could end up with 7 names! lol >^-.-^<
