Hoo hoo, you asked... I know that my path is vastly different from that of many Pagans. I have many radical ideas, which is why I call myself an anarchist Pagan. I don't write any of this to incite argument or debate, only to say what I think.First, I don't worship the gods and goddesses. I honor them and call upon them to assist me in my life. I don't believe that the Pagan gods want or need to be worshipped in the manner of other religions' gods. I don't believe they are megalomaniacal in that sense. I believe that they are more than willing to help me if my request is reasonable, and to ignore me if it is not.
And in this vein: I do not believe in the threefold law or the tenet of "harm none." I see these ideas as scare tactics designed to keep us as witches from realizing our full potential and using our power to its greatest extent. If the gods don't like what I am asking, they will not respond as I wish. Period. I don't believe I will burst into flame, or suffer three times the pain that I ask to be wrought upon someone. I believe in restoring balance. If someone has messed with me, I believe that I have the right and responsibility to right the balance. I don't rely on "fate" to deal with someone who has wronged me. We all see how corrupt people continue to accrue wealth and fame with no consequences. I take on those who wrong me personally. Saying this, I don't want it to sound like that I am casting spells every night against people who piss me off. That would be ridiculous. I've only done a handful of spells in this area, and very carefully. I word my spells craftily and ask only that the offender pay in kind for what he/she has done to me. I don't fear the retribution of the gods for this, and I have never received it. I live my life as much in balance as I possibly can. I honor the sacred feminine AND masculine. You can't have one without the other. There is no light without darkness. I honor joy, sorrow, celebration, and mourning. These are all part of life, whether we choose to bring them to ourselves or not - they will come into our lives.
I think I love you! You and I are very alike. I do so look forward to getting to know you better!
