Well I like most of them, their not very accurate but hey. My favorite is Charmed Im kind of addicted but i generaly dont mind them apart from when people think that real pagans have magical powers and can clear the dishes with the twitch of a nose.

Ya know...As hot as those three girls on Charmed are, I've never been able to sit through an entire episode of of it...I don't know...When they start throwing their "powers" at eachother...I always seem to remember something that needs to be done...Like mowing at midnight or something. On the other hand I suppose one could see the characters as symbolic representations of "magical beings" if one was thus inclined. Also, for all it's inaccuracies it does show Wicca (albeit their very own representation) in a positive light (as opposed to the movie Warlock for example). I even heard somewhere that in the beginning they even tried to dispel some myths then Aron Spelling took over. I don't know about all that, what I do know is that it shows magic and spellcrafting in a positive light and defines it as something cast by a witch and/or cover of witches.

ohhh, mowing at midnight...way to get in with the neighbors!
charmed was good, in the way that it showed magick as good, but the way they throw their powers around and stuf like that makes ppl think that thats what magick is, and that witches can do that sorta stuf...but its good that it shows that they arent big tall old ladies with big noses and cackling vioces and crap like in fariytales tho!

However when they see a book on wicca, or spellcrafting, do you think it may open their mind or close it?

Charmed: My favorite show. I just recently watched it and became obessed. Some things are incorrect but its only a TV show.
Buffy: No....just no
Sabrina: I liked it when I was little. Thats it
Bewitched: Love it!

Bewitched was one of the first times a witch was shown as being beautiful ... no green skin, warts, large crooked nose, etc. For that alone, I loved it! And it was just fun to watch!

I've said it before...These shows can open awareness and at some point, if they truly raise curiosity, then at some point they become serious seekers...The gods have many many ways of speaking to their hosts. T.V. shows are just a newer way it seems to me.
