I'm interested in peoples responses to this question. What is Wicca to you? Is it a religion that as a rule views one god and one goddess as defined by *most* traditions? Is it a simple philosophy who's main tenant is "harm none and do as ye wilt"? When you hear the word Wicca what words, terms, and feelings does it invoke? What is it that makes Wicca, Wicca? Traditions aside. Hi, to me Wicca is more than a religion, its a Mystery Tradition that uses the framework and religion as a way to understand and experience the Gods and ourselves. I personally dont think that worshipping one God and one Goddess makes someone Wiccan seeing as that Im polytheistic. When I hear the term Wicca I think of my personal style, I think of a religious movement where people try to understand nature, nature of the Gods, ourselves, and all of creation. As a note on the Rede, remember that Gardner was infact initiated into Crowley`s OTO and in the Rede "Will" isn`t meant as "do whatever you feel like..." but your True Will, the divine reason of your incarnation. This is just my view of Wicca. RR
