this is just a little thing i noticed, but when i picture the year with all the sabbats, seasons, months in my head, i see spring and autumn on opposite sides this is how most people see it ( or at lest some people): but i see it like this: ...............yule................... imbolc ................................samhain ostara ............................................ mabon beltane.......................................lughnasadh ....... summer solstice...... going ANTI clockwise. the thing is, EVERYONE else i have asked, sees it the other way round

<teasing> :-*Are you standing on your head when you look at the wheel? That could cause this malady.

Covens also typically practice on the Esbats (13 full moons). The practice of worshipping on the Esbats (full moons) is common because it is believed that magickal energy peaks at that time. This is an especially common practice for those who hold circle outdoors. The eight religious holidays (Sabbats) are: Imbolc a.k.a. Imbolg, Candlemas February 2nd – The middle of winter and the first hope of spring to arrive. Associated with Brigid, a Celtic Goddess. Spring Equinox a.k.a. Ostara ~March 21st – The beginning of spring, associated with fertility symbols of rabbits and eggs. Some accounts treat Ostara as being separate from the equinox. Beltane a.k.a. May Eve April 30th – The peak of spring with a celebration of life, flowers and fertility. Beltane is also significant as a time of fertility between The Goddess and The God. Summer Solstice a.k.a. Midsummer ~June 21st – The longest day of the year marks the beginning of summer. The day of the sun reaching it's peak in the heavens (skies) and often seen as the peak of the Gods cycle. Lammas a.k.a. Lughnasadh August 1st – The middle of summer and the first harvest festivity. A time of offerings for a good harvest. Associated with the Celtic God Lugh. Autumn Equinox a.k.a. Mabon ~September 21st – The beginning of fall and the main harvest. The major harvest and a time to give thanks. Samhain (Irish pronunciation SOW'-in) October 31st – The final harvest. A time to honor those passed and a time when the veils between the other worlds are the thinnest. Samhain is generally considered to be the Wiccan 'New Year' and is celebrated as such. Winter Solstice a.k.a. Yule ~December 21st – The beginning of winter, the longest night of the year. The burning of fires or Yule logs gives energy to the sun. The Wheel of the year is a usefull tool. Since Wiccans see Samhain as the "New Year" that is when the sabbat cycle starts all over again... then next in line is yule, imbolc, ostara, beltaine, Summer Solstice ( Midsummer or litha), Lughnasadh, Mabon. and then the cycle starts all over again with Samhain.

geez, why I never clicked this tread before now is beyond me lol but anyways, that is an awesome graphic but I would change it. I would have litha at the top-most point, not samhain to me it just seems the sun being at the highest/strongest point should be at the top instead of near the bottom RR
