The heat of the summer is traditionally a time of relaxation. In agricultural areas, the crops have been planted and this is the period of waiting and tending until they are ready for harvest. For the farmers I have known (in the Midwest United States), July is the time when they are able to take a little time to have fun with their families.
The energy of the Blessing Moon, also called the Hay Moon, Wort Moon, and Thunder Moon, is a relaxed energy. It has a watery, emotional feel, which can be welcome in the heat of summer. This moon is a time of meditation and planning for spiritual goals. It is also a good time for divination and dream work.
When you are planning your esbat rites this month, consider researching stones such as pearls and moonstones, which hold this watery moon energy, and herbs like orris root, mugwort, and jasmine. Incorporate these items into your ritual or just carry them with you to learn more about them.
Consider divinatory reading with runes, tarot, or any method you prefer for your moon rituals this month. Or, if you want to try doing some dream work, create a dream pillow or sachet using herbs that relax you and promote divination and dreaming.
Don’t forget, celebrate your path with mirth and reverence, and take time for yourself this month. Relax and enjoy the Summer!
"The clitoris is pure in purpose. It is the only organ in the body designed purely for pleasure. The clitoris is simply a bundle of nerves: 8,000 nerve fibers to be precise. Thats a higher concentration of nerve fibers than is found anywhere else in the body, including the fingertips, lips, and tongue, and it is twice the number in the penis. Who needs a handgun when you've got a semiautomatic?"
Blue: I visited a friend tonight and a opossum walked across my path as I went to her door....then when I came home the same thing happened but as I walked to my own door. What an interesting coincidence! I will take the advice it gives me.

Kuro Tenshi: How can one prove to themself that magic is real?
Apr 18, 2017 18:17:22 GMT -5
Obviously: One can prove that magic works to themselves by attempting different spells and having positive results that match up with their intention. This is how one proves anything by use of experiment. Anything other than that is simple self-delusion.
