June by Luka Bloom
Whitethorn blossom just comes floating down Down on the June breeze Like summer snow on the ground Long grass sways from side to side The creatures are coming in here They're coming in from far and wide Here where everything changes and grows Here where everything changes and grows Here where everything changes and grows They come to see the seasons different shows
Ah but June, I love the way you pull me in June, I love your heat upon my skin June, I love the way you pull me in To your midsummer feeling
I hear the long grass shuffling in the June breeze Smell the lavender and the catmint leaves Everything comes and goes like the tides Everything comes and goes like the tides Everything comes and goes like the tides Life is celebrations and goodbyes
Ah but June, I love the way you pull me in June, I love your heat upon my skin June, I love the way you pull me in To your midsummer feeling
Wild rose and the foxglove side by side Opening up to welcome butterflies June June June...

Oran by Runrig
Breath of my life, Breath of my existence Breath of my life Proclaiming in my soul, Uplifting my heart Uplifting my heart
I am standing before you Without fear or desire I am standing before you The concerns of the morning will come When the sun rises When the sun rises
Song, Â sacred, eternal Lift on high the voice of the people Song, I am reconciled Let it rise up from the moorlands
The psalm is like a flame, Illuminating all around The psalm is like a flame My lips opened When the day began When the day began
Song, Â sacred, eternal Lift on high the voice of the people Song, I am reconciled Let it rise up from the moorlands
Sing, Sing, Sing A new song, a song of the dust
Spoken Passage: (unofficial translation) Looking out the window of morning From the evening to the door of night I asked the question And the answer was in the water of dawn It was the earth

After one whole quart of brandy Like a daisy I awake With no Bromo Seltzer handy, I don't even shake.
[Cher] Men are not a new sensation; I've done pretty well, I think. But this half-pint imitation Put me on the blink
I'm wild again Beguiled again A simpering, whimpering child again Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I
[Rod Stewart] Listen, baby I couldn't sleep And wouldn't sleep Until I could sleep where I shouldn't sleep Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I
[Cher] Lost my heart but what of it? My mistake I agree.
[Rod Stewart] Oh she's such a laugh, and I love it Although the laugh's on me.
[Cher] Oohh I'll sing to him Bring springs to him And worship the trousers that cling to him Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I
Oh you're so cute Oh she's kept enough, she's slept enough And yet, where it counts she's adapt enough
[Cher] Aha
[Both] Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I
[Cher] When he talks he is seeking Words to get off his chest.
[Rod Stewart] Horizontally speaking She's at her very best.
[Both] Oh we've seen a lot I mean a lot And now we're like sweet seventeen a lot Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I Oh, we're vexed again Perplexed again Thank God we can't be over-sexed again Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I

The Widow by The Poozies
Well high upon a lonely moor a widow lived alone An inn she kept and as she slept the pillow heard her moan. 'Oh many is the traveler who’s spent the night with me. There’s no’ a man in all creation gives content to me. Oh some can manage once or twice And some make three or four It seems to me a rarity is the man who can do more I’ll do anything to find him, in Hea’en or in Hell’ And as these words were spoken Then she heard her front door bell. And, the wind blew cold and lonely across that widow’s moor And she ne’er, e’er turned away a traveler from her door
So boldly then the widow ran And the door she opened wide And as she did a tall and handsome stranger stepped inside She gave him bread and brandy and when that he was fed He said, ‘me dear now have no fear ‘tis time to come to bed. For I’ve heard your call way down below and I’ve come to see you right. But you must come to hell with me if I can last the night.' She said, ‘Ye randy devil, to this bargain I’ll agree for Hell on earth or Hell in Hell, ‘tis all the same to me!' And, the wind blew cold and lonely across that widow’s moor And she ne’er, e’er turned away a traveler from her door.
So then they fell both into bed the devil was working well He thought before the night was through she’d be his in Hell But when they came to number nine, the widow cried out 'more!'. And, when the twelfth time came around again she cried for more! At twenty-five the devil felt compelled to take a rest The widow she cried 'come raise yer head and put me to the test.' At sixty-nine, the widow laughed, 'again, again' she cried. The devil he said, 'Well I can see just how yer husband died!'
At ninety-nine, the devil he began to moan and weep He said, 'I’ll give ye anything if ye let me go to sleep.' Before the morning light was up, the devil hobbled home. The widow still no’ satisfied once more was left alone. There she lay an grumbled as she thought of ninety-nine, 'If only that ol’ devil could have made it one more time. I’ll call him up again tonight to see what may be done With a bit more application he could hae made the ton!'
But when she called to him that night, no devil did appear For the first time in eternity, the devil he shook with fear He said, 'Of all the torment I’ve witnessed here in hell, I’ve ne’er ken what pain was ‘til I rang yer front door bell!
And, the wind blew cold and lonely across that widow’s moor And she ne’er, e’er turned away a traveler from her door.
And, the wind blew cold and lonely across that widow’s moor And she ne’er, e’er turned away a traveler from her door.

On the Turning away.... Floyd
On the turning away From the pale and downtrodden And the words they say Which we won't understand "Don't accept that what's happening Is just a case of others' suffering Or you'll find that you're joining in The turning away" It's a sin that somehow Light is changing to shadow And casting it's shroud Over all we have known Unaware how the ranks have grown Driven on by a heart of stone We could find that we're all alone In the dream of the proud On the wings of the night As the daytime is stirring Where the speechless unite In a silent accord Using words you will find are strange And mesmerised as they light the flame Feel the new wind of change On the wings of the night No more turning away From the weak and the weary No more turning away From the coldness inside Just a world that we all must share It's not enough just to stand and stare Is it only a dream that there'll be No more turning away?

For all of my friends here at PM... The Greatest Flame(Runrig) Like shadows on the wall You come and you go Through the streets And the rain that falls down On our sin No more good-byes Forever this way Whenever the greatest flame in the world Starts burning This is our life, and our time And nothing, is ever going to break us Now we're on our own Always in your eyes A waking of souls We gaze out on the road That brought us up To this place The signposts never change We'll go where they lead Whenever the day to break us comes We'll not give in This is our life, and our time And nothing, is ever going to break us Now we're on our own This is our place, in our lives And no one can ever change this moment Or pull this mountain to the ground Live the day when the flame is strong Live the day when the flame is strong Come the day when love is gone Take it over, Take it over Live the day when the flame is strong Live the day when the flame is strong Come the day when love is gone Take it over This is our life, and our time And nothing, is ever going to break us Now we're on our own This is our place, in our lives And no one can ever change this moment Or pull this mountain to the ground

Heeding The Call- Hammerfall A flash in the night, a journey through time the Templars are back on the streets Guarded by prowess and the will to survive all led by the guiding light
Angels of mercy, guardians of time Shackled and chained through the eternal flame the hammer will slowly arise
Heeding The Call, one and for all never surrender, with glory we´ll fall Brothers unite, let´s stand up and fightfulfilling our fate, we are Heeding The Call
One step ahead, revealing the past united, together we stand The call of the thunder, the sign to begin this final crusade we will win
Angels of mercy, our journey must proceed With hearts all filled up with chivalry the lifeblood that we all need
Heeding The Call, one and for all never surrender, with glory we´ll fall Brothers unite, let´s stand up and fight fulfilling our fate, we are Heeding The Call
Oh, oh, oh…
Heeding The Call, one and for all never surrender, with glory we´ll fall Brothers unite, let´s stand up and fight fulfilling our fate, we are Heeding The Call

Hearts on Fire- Hammerfall We saw the writings on the wall When heathens ruled above us all Tormented, we still heard the call
You come to bring us down Wield the scepter, steal the crown Time on the throne is running out
'Cause seasons change but we are still the same Even though the cold winds blow we're burning like a flame '
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire Burning, burning with desire Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire Burning, burning with desire Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire Burning, burning with desire Burning for the steel
Hearts On Fire
For years shunned by society Outcasts, condemned for our beliefs Our legions grew in secrecy
And now, the time is here I see the Templars everywhere The Freedom Call is drawing near
We hold our rebel banners up with pride The colour's crimson and the Hammer is the sign
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire Burning, burning with desire Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire Burning, burning with desire Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire Burning, burning with desire Burning for the steel
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire...
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire Burning, burning with desire...
Hearts On Fire

Skyclad Lyrics
Pagan Man
I am the Pagan Man--I speak for all my kind, When I criticise your point of view--your hollow state of mind. You say that I'm an animal--well this at least is true, I'm a thinking breathing human being--what the hell are you?
Primordial Lyrics
The Coffin Ships
Young hearts born with grief Shall pay the penalty of truth A season of stolen youth Shall teach old hearts to break
[glow=red,2,300]It feels like I've been here before Here to where the animals lay down to die So we stood alone on a distant store Our broken spirits in rags and tatters[/glow]
Nerve and muscle, heart and brains Lost to Ireland, lost in vain Pause and you can almost hear The sounds echo down through the ages The creak of the burial cart Here in humiliation and sorrow Not mixed with indignation One is driven to exclaim Oh god, that bread should be so dear And human flesh so cheap[/li][li]
Young hearts are born with such grief We have paid the penalty of truth A season of our stolen youth Shall teach our hearts to break

standing on the shore (ooh) calling out your name (ooh) i was here before (ooh) i could see your face only clouds will see (ooh) tears are in my eyes (ooh) empty like my heart (ooh) why do ya say goodybye? (bye)
chorus: the rain goes on (on and on again) the rain goes on (on and on again) the rain goes on (on and on again)
alone i can hear hear our song playing for me again won't blame it on myself, oh no i'll blame it on the weatherman
standing on the shore (ooh) calling out your name (ooh) i was here before (ooh) i could see your face only clouds will see (ooh) tears are in my eyes (ooh) empty like my heart (ooh) why do ya say goodbye? (bye)
chorus
maybe it's too late maybe it's too late to try again (aah, aah, aah, aah) maybe i can't pray (maybe i can't pray) maybe i can't wait (maybe i can't wait) maybe i can't blame the weatherman

Enya- A day without rain (love enya ) Ever close your eyes? Ever stop and listen? Ever feel alive And you’ve nothing missing? You don’t need a reason, Let the day go on and on. Let the rain fall down Everywhere around you. Give into it now, Let the day surround you. You don’t need a reason, Let the rain go on and on. What a day, what a day to take to. What a way, what a way to make it through. What a day, what a day to take to a wild child. Only take the time From the helter skelter. Every day you find, Everything’s in kilter, You don’t need a reason, Let the day go on and on. Every summer sun, Every winter evening, Every spring to come, Every autumn leaving. You don’t need a reason, Let it all go on and on. What a day, what a day to take to. What a way, what a way to make it through. What a day, what a day to take to a wild child

Going Home Mary Fahl
They say there's a place where dreams have all gone They never said where but I think I know It's miles through the night just over the dawn on the road that will take me home
I know in my bones I've been here before The ground feels the same though the land's been torn I've a long way to go The stars tell me so on this road that will take me home
Love waits for me 'round the bend Leads me endlessly on Surely sorrows shall find their end and all our troubles will be gone And I'll know what I've lost and all that I've won when the road finally takes me home
And when I pass by don't lead me astray Don't try to stop me Don't stand in my way I'm bound for the hills where cool waters flow on this road that will take me home
Love waits for me 'round the bend Leads me endlessly on Surely sorrows shall find their end and all our troubles will be gone And we'll know what we've lost and all that we've won when the road finally takes me home
I'm going home I'm going home I'm going home

Dickens Dublin (The Palace) Loreena Mckennitt my current favourite song, coz its so cute...theres this little irish kid that says the stuff in italics, tis really gorgeous... Joyful mystery, the birth of our lord ... This night our Lady and St. Joseph was going up to get registered and um they were going down the road and they met this man ... and he said have you any room and he said 'Not but there's an old stable over there that I owned ... If yous want to go into it ... And they went over and the Lord came down from heaven at twelve o'clock and loads of beautiful angels was with them ... and when they were walkin ....I walk the streets of Dublin town It's 1842 It's snowing on this Christmas Eve Think I'll beg another bob or two I'll huddle in this doorway here Till someone comes along If the lamp lighter comes real soon Maybe I'll go home with him Maybe I can find a place I can call my home Maybe I can find a home I can call my own These three wise kings ... um ... they were all from different countries. And they always looked up at the sky and they looked up this night and saw this beautiful star up in the sky ... and when they were going they all meeted together ... and they had to pass King Herod's, not that we much care for him ... and they went in and he said 'Where ye goin with yer best stitches on ye.' The horses on the cobbled stones pass by Think I'll get one one fine day And ride into the country side And very far away But now as the daylight disappears I best find a place to sleep Think I'll slip into the bell tower In the church just down the street Maybe I can find a place I can call my home Maybe I can find a home I can call my own And they said 'Did you not hear the news' and say he says 'What news' he says 'This day the Saviour is born' and he said to them 'When you find him come back and tell me cause I want to go and adore him too' and he was only coddin' them. He wanted to kill him and when they were going, they stopped and they said 'Surely not this old stable that our King is born in. We were expecting a palace. Maybe on the way I'll find the dog I saw the other night And tuck him underneath my jacket So we'll stay warm through the night As we lie in the bell tower high And dream of days to come The bells o'er head will call the hour The day we will find a home Maybe I can find a place I can call my home Maybe I can find a home I can call my own Maybe I can find a place I can call my home Maybe I can find a home I can call my own There was these shepherds and shepherds are fellas that mind the foals and cows and sheeps and little lambs and all and um they hears this beautiful music up in the sky and they were wondering what was so fun ... an angel disappated then and he said I was wonderin' what so fun' and he said ye and he said 'The Saviour is born. If yous want to go to see him, follow that star up in the sky, and it was a beautiful star. its a really beautiful song
