This week, Tuesday to be precise, marks two months I have been on my feet again, for the first time in seven years. For anyone else, two months would seem a very short time. For me, I have lived a lifetime already. The list of things yet to do grows daily!
I hug my children standing up, full contact body hugs, that make my heart sing. I stand in the cold winter rain and feel the icy drops slide down my skin, reveling in the sensation. I kneel by my sacred pool in the woods and dip my hand in the water, connecting with the spirits there. I walk to a candle shop to buy candles that I burn for friends and strangers, to share my energies and power with them.
I was asked last night what I am grateful for. Normally, I would say that I am blessed with the two most amazing children in all the world... for I am that. But, this year, I am also blessed by wholeness and health and a new spiritual awakening that has shaken my world to its very core. I cannot help but remember that every year at this time, my children would climb on Santa's lap and ask for me to be made well as one of their gifts.
Santa delivered....big time! May you all be as blessed this Yuletide as I have been!

I feel exactly the same way.... lol, well, I would have talked to her at some point, see, I am Wren's Stalker.... How many sites to I follow you around on? lmfao..... No, I am sooo on a Wren Kick right now... I think that this bears repeating....
And, I will repeat it again.... lol, Wren, My sister, you put this every where! I soooo love you!
My Sweet Sister.... I am soooo happy that you have shared this with us.... I do have a hard time believing that it's only been two months... oh, but, it's been an experience for myself as well. I am especially grateful to have had the Wren happen upon my path.. She teaches me many things about magic, friendship, caring and compassion... Oh, I hope to one day have just a bit of her wisdom... Wren, I love you my sister, and, we are most definately blessed to have you with us!
(and, no weepies this time!)
I mean every bit of it my sister, thank you for being who you are and teaching me what you do...
Love ya, lala
