yes, there is a purple theme. somewhere along the line many of my tools ended up being purple, so i figured it was meant to be and went with it.
yes, i made them. it was a really simple pattern. the slippers were the hardest to make. the robes are one large piece. the cloak is two pieces, body and hood. the slippers are 3-4 pieces. if anyone's interested i can tell you how i made the claok and robes.

I would like to know please. I've looked into making my own for some time. Have the fabric picked out, but just haven't gotten to the making of it. (When possible I prefer to go barefoot so I might not need the slippers one.)

ok, directions on making robes. for both you will need fabric about as wide as you are tall, at the shoulder. if you want your robes to be shorter then get narrower fabric. the wicth of the fabric can be found on the end of the bolt, or just ask the sale associate. knit fabric works best since woven fabric tends to unravel. knit fabric is what t-shirts are made out of and tends to be somewhat stretchy. this site has good directions. (you don't need the capelet for the cloak if you don't want it) www.servantsofthelight.org/knowledge/makingrobes.html

I am not surprised by that answer.....So much for sarcasm You have quite an array of talent. It's really is cool to see people who can do so much. How did you get this talented. Was it hard work, luck, or a combination of both?

Was it hard work, luck, or a combination of both? i love to learn new things. when i see something i like i want to learn how to make it so i try different things out until it works. i just happen to be good at making things and figuring out how things go together, so it's a combination of both.
