who's in college? who's going to attend college? who cannot afford college? who thinks college is dumb? who thinks you can have a great life without "wasting your time" with college? who thinks i should have made a poll? Let me try to answer these one at a time. who's in college? Me. Sociology Major and a Psychology Minor. who's going to attend college? I plan on attending again in the fall after Summer Break - I just need to get my Fasfa re-submitted. who cannot afford college? Me, thats why I have/had Finical aide from the state and federal government and also Student Loans. who thinks college is dumb? Somedays I think it is. who thinks you can have a great life without "wasting your time" with college? I think its possible - certainly college course work and regular job work does cut into your "play time" who thinks i should have made a poll? I do deffinatly - making me type all this shame on you :-P Also I'd like to add my college is awesome - the other day the GSSA * Gay-Straight-Student Aliance* had a Dragshow and the exact same time Campus Crusade * a Christian-Student orgaization* had their weekly meeting in the same building. Of course they had to cancel the show because one of the queens wanted to come out with next to nothing on.

Ack college! I'm a senior this year, but today is my last day of class. Tomorrow we have school technically, but all the seniors are doing is practicing for graduation hehe. I wanted to go to (and got accepted to) the Art Institute of Portland, Oregon, but it's like $40,000 a year (3 trimesters) and for 3 years, thats a lot of student loans. So my parents had no faith in my scholarship getting ability and said I couldn't go So I'm stuck in town going to the cheapest and easiest to get into Cal. State University. Quite frustrating considering I worked my behind off (4.1 gpa!) so I could get accepted into the college I want to go to.

Wow. Enough questions? lol. I was in college. technically a year of college. I waited a semester after I graduated to attend college. I had a lot of things going on and I just needed a break. It was really hard to get back into the swing of things but my first semester was easy. Second semester I nearly failed all classes. I was going through hard times and money was tight. I didn't take out any loans so all my savings went to classes. I ended up dropping 3 classes and now I'm out of college for a bit. Planning on going back but I have to get my finaces set first.
I liked college just because I had so many choices of what I wanted. Still have to take those stupid required classes like math and english, but oh well. Nothing I can do about that. Heh.
I know what I want to go to school for. An elemetary education degree. I've wanted to be a teacher since my freshman year of school. I can't wait, but I'll have to.
Some people just aren't cut out for college. It's possible for people to make it really high in this world without a degree in anything. It just takes time and hard work. If your good at something you don't need a piece of paper to prove it.
There's my random ranting on college. lol.

I'm in college at the University of Pittsburgh in Bradford right now. That's in Pennsylvania. I'm majoring in SOcial Sciences but I'm going to transfer to one of many different schools I'm applying to so that I can major in Japanese. I've also been happily ignoring my discouraging parental units. They think it's useless but I'm the one paying back the student loans so they can shove it.

i just finished the first semester of my sophmore year. i'm a studio art major. basically, that translate into i'm going to college to be a starving artist. that's perfectly alright with me.
i can't afford college. that's why i have loans and grants and scholarships out my ears. i'm trying to figure out how i'm going to pay for my books next semester. books are EXPENSIVE and i have to have LOTS of them for my classes.
