Yeah well I couldn't think of anything else lol don't be nice just cos I'm pregnant either.. What's your honest oppinion? I always tell teens and young adults that they don't wanna have to get a babysitter for their 21st birthday. It has been my observation that people over the age of 21 deal with parenthood and all the stresses it brings better than people under 21. So it has always seemed like sound advice. I'm not at all saying that if you are over 21 you will automaticly be a better parent than someone younger but in general that has been the case for my friends and family.

In my case my friends and family have proved to be better when they are under the age of 21. But yes I can agree with what you are saying. For my birthday this year I won't be able to celebrate because I will be 5 months pregnant by then. Then I won't be able to celebrate on christmas either because I will be in hospital giving birth lol what a bloody day to give birth.. People under the age of 21 don't always have their own house or even a job so all I can say to the teens reading this is.. ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTION!! Unless you can bear the thought of an abortion and you have the money to do so.. Or the money for lifetime treatments for sexually transmitted diseases.. Aids.. Hep c.. Etc
Yeah ok I'll stop the rant now lol

The consequences for having unprotected sex are so real and so serious that these things really can't be stressed enough.

I have so many friends that tell me about their sex lives and I'm astounded at how many don't bother with protection.. I have about 4 friends at the moment that think they may be pregnant and one of them has hep c.. I have always told them the risks of not using protection but they are deaf to my warnings.. Always come up with excuses.. They will learn one day..

I myslef wouldnt want to have children untill I am about 30. But if it happend before that time i would do my very best to raise a child even if it is not part of plans.
I think a having a child when under 21 could really effect someones education. I want to be able to travel around the world after university. If i had a child to look after i wouldnt be able to do that.
I have a good friend who has a child and he loves his child with all his hear but he is my age and it kills him when he cant see the child all the time as he is not in a relationship with the mother. It can become quite complicated.
Two other good friends of mine are having a child together and one is 19 and one is 21. Im sure they will be great parents.

Very good oppinion marcus..
Just because they are young does not mean they cannot be great parents it just means that they cannot always financially support a child and can't really enjoy their teen years and get an education. Sometimes they can't fulfill their dreams of travel and whatnot.. And also, the majority of teens who have a child end up single parents.

Exactly.
I know that you will love your child more than anything Emily, and it doesent matter what age you are.
To have a child is a wonderful thing but it will hold you back from the fun and opportunities that many people are age will be able to have.

Yeah, but I'll have my fun one day. And my dream of working with wolves will never fade and I will do everything in my power to make it happen. I am planning to do a home study course on animal studies then I'll do whatever other courses there are to do. I will move overseas with the child one day. Australia is a shithole. Scuse the language. I don't want to raise my child here. Plus, overseas the child will have more opportunaties. Gotta go. Sorry bout spelling lol

Being a teenage mom is a lot of work...I have many friends who are freshman at my high school have kids, and they love them unconditionally. Even the fathers are still around which surprises me the most.My good friend is 15 with a 5 yr old and pregnant with a 2nd. Both daddies are there for their kids. She is an awesome mom. I am not at all against teens mothers. As long as they can be responsible.

Yep and a couple more months til a second comes poppin out. She says she used protection, but that stuff only works 83% of the time.
