Yes but that doesn't spare me all the crappy side effects. My MD never mentions any of them, I just start swelling, or coughing. I go to her everytime it has a side effect. I think she thought I was BSing her about the problems in the beginning. The new med will be my sixth try at a BP med. She's threatening me with another Heart Scan. It doesn't hurt, it but it's scary cause my Mom died of Heart Disease, at 66. I will persevere...

So sorry to hear that storm. That is scary. I know how you feel. Every time something involving blood comes up I get freaked. Either with me or my kids. Because of my mother's sudden leukemia and her quick departure. ( I still have issues with that, I think the doctors could have found that so much sooner. She did after all just have a baby. Think of all the blood work involved with that.) I also had thought my mom was full of it. She was known to do things like that for sympathy. So when she initially had gotten so sick, I thought it was a act.

Well today was a terrible day. I thought I was dying this morning. My stupid tongue swelled up because of the inhaler use. Then I coughed until my throat was raw. I said F it and started taking the Antibiotics the MD said I didn't need. I never used Chloraseptic, until today, that saved me from agony. Oh when will this lung crud end! I didn't know that's how your Mom passed. I'm sorry for you, I know you miss her. I think dying is the easy part, all the suffering in between is what kills you. Pretty soon you'll be a Rooing!>^..^<

Yeah well the 2 1/2 year has it now. To bad we didn't get it all at the same time. My husband and my daughters mother-in-law haven't gotten it yet. This mess could drag out until July.
