Harmonica is a very difficult instrument to play... It's not as easy as you'd think...I'd say something but the women would think I'm being bad so I won't...I'll just say it's harder than it looks lol.

haha, i'd believe you too, ive seen people trying to play along with some songs, they had to jump around the thing just to get the notes..and they had a bit of trouble keeping up...maybe i was just playing too fast, lol. but i love harmonicas, they sound cool theres an irish guy at the session who plays it, he's the funniest guy, but he has a whole heap of them. they must all be different keys or something, i havnt asked tho. be a cool thing to learn

There are different harmonicas as well as keys. Harmonicas are made with different size reeds & materials for the reeds. Most harmonicas come with a key finder so that you know what key you'll b playing in but it's not what you'd think! There was a show (like American Idol) called "America's Got Talent." In this show, was a duo of brothers. One played several instruments, the other, a EXTREMELY GOOD harpist (he was between 10-12 yrs old!!!) This kid stole the stage. There's very few harpist that can play THAT way. He (IMO) should've won the whole thing. (they were called the Millers, I think) Senbecc.....yeah, I know what you're saying

learning musical instruments of any kind really takes a talent. you also have to dedicate yourself to it, because there is a difference between playing the notes and playing music.

When I first started playing drums, I used to play for 6-8 hours a day. Most of the time, it was a straight-through thing but then I started honing in on things I wanted to practice.....Then came college!!! I was working on music for about 14 hours a day. I was in love!!!! (with music...lol)

Hey dmmdrums I wanted to tell you I liked the drumming at your My Space site. It was very stimulating, my daughter enjoyed it too. >^..^< I can not take the credit for that. That is from the man of inspiration for me. His name (if you don't know) is Neil Peart of prog-rock trio Rush. I have some of his lyrics posted here. It's been speculated that Neil is either Pagan or a Buddhist. He has many songs that seem to relate to non-Christian religious beliefs. Wildly talented, his lyrics & drumming is simply amazing. I recommend highly to get Anatomy of a Drum Solo (if you want to see other solos) I can play many of the things he plays. I just wish I could set up my acoustic & get back to playing on those again....But thank you! He is my favorite drummer of all time (for reasons you mentioned). Ok, I go now....

i heard myspace. we should figure out how many of us have myspace and just have a big myspace adding friends party. that made absolutely no sense, did it? sure it did....the only thing I don't like about myspace is the ability to group friends. I have Pagans, Musicians, Friends, & Family....I'd like to separate them to send specifics to them. Imagine being able to send a Happy Mabon bulletin out to all Pagans or something like that.....
