Love puddles, especially now that I can jump in them again! Told you, I'm getting the 'look' 'cause I keep going out and standing in the rain... just because I can.

But, why get the look? oh, I don't understand it... hell, I can understand it... I love rain, it's cleansing, it's spiritual, it's good.... it's also the reason why I will spend most of the rainy season sick...... me + shoes= not happy
lala+barefoot+rain+puddles= joy........=sick ass lala

Well, I don't know many people 'round here who actually go OUT into bad weather. But, for so long I couldn't as motorized wheels don't do well in the rain. Now, I just stand there. And, barefoot? Oh, yeah! Not something anyone else understands about me.
The night I spent outside alone, I woke to rain on my face. The only way I could describe it was 'the opposite of tears of pain'. It was beautiful!

That is oh sooo awesome... I can only imagine what it is like for you to become mobil again, I know that, after my coma, I had to do some physical therapy, get the muscles going again, so, I can understand, maybe better than some.., The determination, the will power.. the fact that no one wants to be a 24 yr old that uses a walker.. yeah, I can understand some of it, and, the transformation......

Coma? ? Well, then, I truly do have someone who understands! That certainly feels good!

Coma? ? Well, then, I truly do have someone who understands! That certainly feels good! A few years ago, (and, I thought that I might have mentioned it) I got really sick... I was in septic shock when I went to the ER... I had emergency surgery, and, my gall bladder was removed... there was sooo much poison in my system that I needed 3 plasma transfusions, stints were placed in my kidneys... to drain the poison, and, then, they closed me up.... they really werent sure what the problem was, or, if they had fixed it.... I made it through the surgery, even woke up for a little while after.... when they attempted to extubate me, I stopped breathing.... heart did too well, they brought me back, and, intubated again, then, decided that the only way that I would heal, was to put me into a medicated coma..... I stayed in the coma for 15 days.... true, not that long, then, they let me wake up.... It took me about 3 more day's to actually know and understand what was real, what was going on, what the reality actually was... my brain was pretty mushified..... but, over 2 weeks in a bed, was enough for my muscles to have problems, and, damage,.... I had to learn to stand again, and, then to walk with the help of others, and, a walker.... yes, I can understand on some level, though, not the extent that you have had......
