Welcome, brothers and sisters, take up a flagon and welcome here to our own Herot, the Mead Hall! For those of you who do not know, in ancient days the men(though everyone is welcomed in this one) would gather at the Mead Hall to drink, make peace, and share great and often semi-drunken boasts about their great deeds and manliness(or wo-manliness). Just remember, dont be shy, it is boasting after all, and not everything has to be truth to a tee. Ill start us off. I am Bran the Bard, Bran Sinnach, and with a mace and a buckler no foe is my equal! My strikes are as swift as lightning, and the blows as mighty as thunder! Those who challenge me shall crumple like autumn leaves beneath the might of my mace, hefty Ravenwing! I speak true, brothers and sisters, that once I took on three opponents at a single time, each as well armed as I, and I did send all three to the ground where they belonged! They were mighty foes indeed, but they met a mightier match still in my shield and mace, in the metal of my arms and the thunder of my heart. Come now my brethren, and let us hear your boasts!*passes the flagon*

i am tanath, a humble artist. i make the most beautiful pieces around. it has been known for people to be struck blind by the beauty of my art. i once knew a mute to suddenly find words to describe what he saw when he looked on one of my humble pots. people come from miles around just to gaze on the wonder of my creations. other artists cower in wonder and shame when they see their palty attempts next to my masterfully created wonders.

I am the wren, druid's bird and song of the world. I sing the world into lushness with my words and beauty into being with my hands. I choose wit over brawn and skill over force, to vanquish foe and sorrow alike. Though I be small, let not my size deceive you! This bird has bested Eagle, sings in winter's cold, and brings the Truth Against the World!
"He who hurts the little wren will ne'er be beloved of men" - William Blake

I be Erin, violinist and player of celtic music. my violin is my tool for storytelling, each song he sings with pride, and my fingers dance out the tune. while i dont go looking for competition, should the opportunity show itself, i can play the pants off any who dare, for many just play their instruments, while mine is as much a part of me as my arm or foot. he has his place on my shoulder, and when we play we become one and tell a story, not just play a song.

I may be a warrior, and many other things as well, but more still know me as Bran the Bard. I speak words of joy and sorrow, victory and defeat, love and loss, glory and shame, the search for the soul and the darkness that falls before that quest. The Gods light a fire within me, a burning need that escapes only through these poems and tales, and they burn so beautifully that many a time they have inspired the humble and humbled the mighty, brought tears of joy and sorrow to the sternest of men, and shown others the good road which they tread or warned them of the black one which they might soon follow. When I speak these things I am greater than any man, for to speak as such is to be something greater than man, it is to instead become a spirit and an idea and all that which has happened and may yet happen. I am Bran Sinnach, Bran the Bard, and these are the words I have spoken.

And I have now been officially be-titled by the lala, Queen of the Void and Randomness... Lady Wren, Seeker of Truth; Keeper of Peace, Wisdom and Hazelnuts; lala's most honourable sister, and red-haired sexy librarian of the official palace library!! And, just this day, as it seems my title is evolving, I've had 'Keeper of Hope' added to the list by Sir Aweful Ron, defender of Lala Land, Commander of the penguin army, betrothed to the queen (in a very long and very open engagement), founding elder of the Woodshed and the bringer of smiles! I shall humbly accept that addition, as it is something I shall never relinquish... no matter what befalls me!
