How do you know if your in love?

What are the signs, what are the clues?

Is it that silly grin you walk around with all the time?
Is it suddenly realizing your acting like your 16 years old again?
Is is care more about what is happening to that other person then what is happening to youself?

Is it that feeling you get when you listen to their heart beat under your ear?

Is it feeling a little lost when they arent around?
and feeling a little lost when they are around?

At 43 , I have been around a few blocks in my time and the truth is, I still am not sure what it means to be in love!

They say that if your inlove you will know it, but I am not sure that is true.

All I do know is that, for the first time in a very very long time, I can close my eyes and actually imagine waking and looking at this face in the morning , ten years from now!

So can any one tell me, how do we know if were in love?

Oh, my, how I like that answer!

I think we take 'what love is' much more for granted when we're younger, Silver. Somehow, we do just know. As we begin to 'head around that block', I think we tend to think about the 'what is it' a great deal more.

If I ever find it, I'll let you know. But, in the meantime, I'm happy for you! :-*

i'm hesitant to say what being in love feels like. i can't say i've ever been there and i'm afraid to say that i am now.

all i know is that i think about her all the time. she shows up in my dreams. i miss her when i'm at school. and above all, i just want her to be happy.

i don't want to call it falling in love yet, but i know that if it continues it's the only thing i will be able to call it.
