Every day I draw one Ogham few from the bag and reflect upon its meaning for the entire day. This not only helps me memorize their meanings but gives me time to fully reflect upon the many layers of meaning within each one. Today, I drew Muin, which means: ‘work completed, a project successfully concluded, harvesting, festivity, celebration, divine ecstasy, inspiration, fun, feasting, festival life, seasonal celebration'. Given all that I have accomplished so far on my way to healing, that I have fasted for three days and intend to spend my first night alone in the woods tonight seeking to pass through the veil, and that Samhain is a time of harvest, festivity and more, this could not be a more fitting few for this time. May the Ancestors guide you, enlighten you and protect you all!

During my vigil last night I had the following experience...(much more than this happened but this seemed appropriate to share here)...
As I watched the clouds pass the moon, I noticed a strange dark line. Not as if it were an object but simply the absence of any light. It was huge, spanning from the horizon to well above the moon and it moved like the needle on a dial, fixed at the base but the top moving toward the moon. There seemed to be another line at its base, straight across and the vertical line intersected it in the middle. As I watched the line on the bottom slid up to the top, forming a ‘T’ shape. It was as if I had been looking at the few ‘huath’ (obstacle) and it became 'beth' (rebirth). The ‘T’ passed over the moon, and slipped down to the horizon.
This morning when I performed my morning blessing, I drew the ‘beth’ few from the bag…reversed. Beth, reversed, means ‘finished business’.

Your night must have been very interesting. I don't have the dedication that you do, you're an inspiration. >^-.-^<

Ah, stormcat, when the spirits call, it is difficult to say no.
But, thank you!
