The moderators and the admin, have agreed to put warnings on all spells, incantations, and chants.
I have gone through almost every post and put the warning on ones I felt needed it.
So, if you see your post modified, please do not be alarmed. We are only trying to make PaganMystics a safe, fun, and open learning enviroment.
Here is the warning: "Magic of any kind should be respected and only worked with clear intent. This site does not guarantee success of any spell posted here, authorize or condone the use of any spell, and takes no responsibility for any spell posted here. The posting of spells is for information and discussion purposes only."

Wow... yay! I'm so glad that my suggestion about the disclaimer was taken seriously! Now, I wouldn't say that posting it safe guards against all legal action, but, it's a very good start...
Blessings to all, ~lala

I should also like to add that, if any member sees a post for a spell that does not yet include the warning, please let the mods know! Thanks!

yes, i am still going through alot of them. working my way down. i dont know how much longer i am going to be on for this weekend. several things have happened this week, first my father inlaw, my boys now have a sinus infection and ear infection. i went to the doctor finally myself today and i have bronchitus. THEN when i logged on today to do some more warnings i got a call from my aunt, my grandfather had a bad car accident. SO. i didnt mean to rant on about this here.

Absolutely! We've lived without the warnings up 'til now. They can wait on the more important things!

You know on the whole warning thing. Why worry about trying to stamp a warning on every individual post why dont you find a way to just make one warning and post it some where everyone has to look? Maybe along with the rules of the forum or something. I don't know but I think posting a warning on every post is time consuming. Is there an introductory email sent out when you sign up informing people of the rules and such? There should be, you know, welcome to the group....the group rules are.....warnings are.....ect. Then you dont have to worry so much about individual posts.

We just feel that if we have a warning on every spell posted then no one can really say they were not warned.
