A German court has ordered a self-proclaimed witch to refund a disappointed client her hefty fee for a spell that failed to win back the woman's partner.
The Munich administrative court said Monday it ruled that the witch must pay back the $1,275 on the grounds she offered a service that was "objectively completely impossible."
After her boyfriend left her in 2003, the client consulted the witch on a spell that would bring him back.
"The defendant carried out the corresponding ritual over several months, each time under a full moon, but without success," a court statement said.
It said the witch denied the client's claim that she had guaranteed success.
However, the court ruled that was irrelevant because "a love ritual is not suited to influencing a person from a distance."
Neither woman's identity was released.
So, what do you think?

I dont agree with love spells. If someone cant get their boyfriend back by their own influence then they should move on. Feel sorry for the witch.

Well, I guess she should have worked as the moon waxed? Anything that fools with free will is wrong and more often than not takes a great deal of "power" to complete...1000 bucks though? What the hell was she performing the spell with?!

We've been through this before, about charging for spells rendered. Personally I wouldn't do it for personal gain, Tarot, spells, or spirit contact. Many people do not believe as I do. I don't condem or condone. It's the promise of success, and end to the problems that lead to these type of cases. If people would heed words of counsel, a lot less mess would occur! >^..^<

I mean, maybe an attraction spell but charging for it (I know it's been done) could spell disaster! How do you tell someone it didn't work? "Oh, you didn't believe it enough!" So, performing spells to help a friend is one thing but charging makes it VERY difficult to do. Long story..... I had a very good friend that had change religion from Jewish to Wiccan. He studied with our Pagan friends. He realized he was gay & had a crush on me. He came out of the closet with a one on one with every one of his friends & family. He told me about the crush after coming out. This wasn't a problem to me. He is a great friend & I explained that I couldn't with him. We had a great friendship until.... He was having a difficult time finding someone so he prepares a love spell (tells no one). Waits for the next full moon & casts the spell....problem....he thought of me while casting the spell. A few days later, we were hanging around & I just got soooo irritated by his comments. I exploded & we got into an argument. It was never the same after. I haven't talked to him for about 10 years or so.... He apologized a few years after & explained the spell but he & I never really could get along.... That's why, IMHO, love spells should never be tried.

There are a couple things really wrong in what she did.
1) Love spells are forbidden for a reason. A witch should not mess with the freewill of another person. 2) Any spell has a higher success rate when it is performed by & for the witch who is casting it. Its a more personal connection. 3) What true witch CHARGES someone for a spell?? None of us knows when the God & Goddess are going to grant our prayer to us....its immoral to charge someone for something that may not come to fruitation. I think, at most, if you have to get supplies for that spell specifically (stones, herbs, candles, etc.) then maybe (maybe) it would be okay to have them pay for those specific supplies - but not for the "services rendered" so to speak...
Okay, I've said my piece LOL
Blessed Be )O(

1000 bucks though? What the hell was she performing the spell with?! that's what i want to know. the client must have been desparate and obsessed to be willing to pay that much money so far after the fact. i MIGHT be able to understand a couple months after. you can still call that heartbreak. a couple years after isn't healthy. love spells aren't a good idea anyway, imo. how are you supposed to know it's real? i'd rather know it's real then have someone i'm not meant to be with.
