Faerys are all around us in nature in our gardens in our local woods, in every country...

As I was reading on the Choctaw last night, I found that they believed that the Gods could come in the forms of animals, mounds (Or sidhe to the Irish). I've found a great deal of similarities between the Lakota, as well as many other Native American cultures which seem to mirror the old ways of Irish spirituality. Makes one wonder.

Just wanted to say even though this has been a discarded thread, I recently became the owner of a Faery Folk Dictionary, written by Edain McCoy. This has names and discriptions of many of the Fair Folk, and some not so fair. I've found it to be a light read, easily understood. I've got something living in my Grape Arbor it arrived on Beltane. Everything is growing wildly around it. I've got Cucmbers, Grapes, Limes, Sunflowers all fruiting beautifully. But the only cat that will go there is my familiar! She loves to go lay inside. So maybe I've got a few Wee Folks inside!>^..^<

Yeah it's the same event, and place. I don't know how long it'll be inhabited though. I've come to terms with the whole event, not so spooked. I've hung chimes and crystals out there, trying to fix it up. It's funny all the other cats lie around staring at the Arbor, the only one who goes in is Shadow. She seems to genuinely love the place. If only we could see with Cat Eyes!>^..^<

Not specific but a generalization, I guess. First, I read the entire thread but I was wondering what Faerie Wicca relates to Wicca that I've started to learn. I guess, I have been reading the book Green Witchcraft by Ann Moura. It does have material relating to Faery lore. So, I was hoping I can find out if this book is related to Faerie Wicca or something else?

I consider our entire garden a place for faeries, nature spirits, ancestors and deities. Along with all the plants we know they love, we put a ring of nine flat stones in our garden, an arc of liatris above that, with a shell in the center of the ring. My daughter leaves gifts for the faeries in shell every morning and tells them they are welcome to come and play there.
The one day she forgot to leave a gift, our doorknob broke and we couldn't go out the front door... hmmm...
and, I've just gotten my hands on 'Working with Fairies' by Anna Franklin and 'A Witches Guide to Faery Folk' by Edain McCoy, though I haven't started either one yet.

We are always missing things here....I know what's up with that. Even before I became Pagan, I used to tell them that they had their fun & give me the item back. Sure enough, it was there right where I looked & it wasn't moments before....
