Today i was in the fields near my house out in the country side. It was a great day and the nature surrounding me was beautiful. It was one of those times where nothing mattered because of how relaxed i was surrounded by this beauty.
So i was standing in the field/meadow and i took a deep breath and im not sure how to explain it but i sort of fainted. But although i lost control and fell i really felt like i was rising up and was allmost ready to take off. What was this?
When this happened i wasnt even really meditating i was just standing with my eyes closed thinking about the nature surrounding me.

I've actually had things like this happen, were you near your stone circle? Sometimes, it certain areas, we can find ourselves standing at the center of where this world over laps the next, finding ourselves overwhelmed by the spirit of place, and the company of the Sidhe. On the other hand it could have been a dizzy spell, your sure your feeling OK?

I wasnt at the stone circle but i was in the hills above it looking down upon it. It was just like fainting except it felt good not bad. Im drained because of these exams but i never faint.

Sounds like the energy around you was intoxicating! Did you have a Audio or Visiual communication? Old places, old power. >^..^<

My head's a jumble of thoughts a memories! I can't seem to straighten them out at the moment, but I'm trying. I think I have something buried in this mind of mine that may help you, Marcus. I'm just having trouble drawing it out. Give me a little time and I'll try to lay it out linearly as best I can.

Pel: Thank you for taking the time Pel! Its just that nothing like this has ever happened to me and im just interested to see if others have had this experience. But it could all be nothing as i have never fainted before so i dont know what that is meant to feel like lol. But i know that you should probably be able to tell if you are going to faint whereas what happened to me came very suddenly.

Marcus ... it sounds to me like what you had was an unplanned, unexpected astral projection. Have you ever had an OOB? When your body fell and you felt like you were 'rising', did you notice a "clicking" sound? I think it is very possible that you spontaniously projected and so didn't have your body properly prepared. If this is the case, you really should start practicing astral projection so that you can do it when you want and STOP yourself from it when you don't want to. An excellent reference on this is astraldynamics.com for all sorts of info on how to handle this new aspect of your development!

I mean...did you hear anything or see anything while you were out. Sometimes you can have a vision, may be the only way it can be brought to your waking mind. It may be seen in dreams but not remembered. I've found when they want you to know something you're going to get the message. >^..^<

Thank you for the link Monnwind! I am looking at it now and there are some good tutorials in there! I dont recall hearing a clicking sound, i dont recall much from it except for this sensation of rising.
I see what you mean now stormcat, sorry lol. As i said to Moonwind i dont really recall alot from it. Im not actually sure if i was "out." When i hit the ground i think i regained control straight away and i was abit shocked because like i said nothing like that had ever happened to me.

Marcus , It may well be that , you soaked up so much of the natural energy of awakening nature that you were in the middle of that you sorta overloaded.
I love storms and when i was younger and lived in florida I used to go outside and just spin slowly in a circle and soak up the storm energy like a sponge, every thing vibrates at a certain frequency and maybe at that moment , you were so open to the earth that you matched frequency with her and lol, a human body wasnt meant to go that fast.
one other explanation might be a new nexus of magnetic lines were formed where you were, which could well have caused an upheaval in your body.
I am no expert but just food for thought

It's been too long since I said I'd get my thoughts in order, but I've been caught up in some things. Ok, this is what I have so far: I remember something similar happening to me a handful of times. From what I can recall, I felt almost in opposition with myself. It wasn't a very active opposition, but more like a passive disagreement ... if that makes any sense. The only thing I can say I felt for sure was fear. I didn't feel terror or horror, but fear at it's basest. To clear it up a bit, I felt a separation of self. I felt myself rising but was conscious of falling. There was a feeling of freedom. I felt that it would be so easy to let go ... maybe to experience or see something new or to move on somehow. Whatever it was, it was almost like I was leaning into an embrace. That's when fear set in. Since I had no idea what lie ahead, I was afraid of what I'd leave behind. At the same time, I felt another type of fear. I was afraid I might be passing up something that I know should happen, denying myself what I've always ... needed as well as wanted. I was torn between flight and security. Since I've lately been preoccupied with love, I'll say this: It felt like new love. I fell in love with a wonderful person, but I couldn't decide whether to risk everything in hopes to gain so much more, or to feel safe and secure in my life how it is and not chance the pain I could experience from a likely rejection. That's all I could come up with so far, Marcus. Maybe it'll help you on your way to figuring out what happened. Here's hoping

I didnt really experience fear though. It was more surprise or shock.
