Thirty miles in two days... just for me! She raised over $1600 for the National MS Society and the 2006 Challenge Walk. She walked alone (among hundreds) as her dad is hurting from a compressed cervical disc and her friends didn't raise the minimum $$. But, two of them worked all weekend as volunteers and crew for the Druidette, along with all of us!
What a kid!

Ah, my girl! She is the sweetest!
She read the part of Lucy Burns at Alice Paul's graveside last night. Sang 'May the Circle Be Unbroken' with the voice of an angel, her little candle clutched in her hand. She wore her 'jail-house door' pin, a replica of the one worn by all the suffragettes who lived through the 'Night of Terror'. She told a reporter who was at the vigil last night that every girl should know the story of Alice Paul and the struggle for the vote because they will know just how much was sacrificed for our right to do so. That girls like her have to keep fighting, just to stay equal. A true warrior-poet-Druidette she is!
