It is yours. Let the warrior-poet speak for the man, John. There are no mistakes when you speak from a place of love.

Senbecc, know that you and yours all have my utmost sympathy for the loss you have felt, and that all of us here share your grief as a family, but as well look to you and your future with solemn pride for what I know you shall some day do. I pray that the Morrigan took him gently from this life and into the world beyond this one, where he shall sit free from the pains and trials of the flesh to watch with naught but love as his people, his family, remember him and his life so tenderly, and as they go forward to do great and wonderous things in their lives he shall look on still and know the pride of a father in seeing all that they have accomplished-including you, Senbecc. While I may have never known the man myself, I know that he spread wisdom to those who sought it and did all he could to help those who would take it, while I never met the man I know he shall live on through the lessons he taught to those who listened to his words and the memories he forged within their souls and minds that will live on as his spirit does, and while I am sad that I should never have had the chance to have met him, I feel honored in knowing that such a man walked this good, green earth with me and that perhaps unbeknownst to me, on some sacred, silent night perhaps we chuckled at the same thought or smiled at the same idea and I was a greater man for having shared even only this with him. He went forth peacefully knowing that his family were in your capable hands, Senbecc, and he shall know only pride in you in the days to come, as I am sure he felt naught else for you and all your kin in the days which have passed. As for this numbness, do not seek teers or joy, Senbecc, for you must not measure and divy your own grief by the measures and standards of others. Instead, I urge you to find your own outlet for your emotions rather than those that others have told you that are natural. Write of him and remember, or perhaps sing his praises to yourself or others, or merely sit and think and lose yourself in your thoughts and within this maze find yourself, and perhaps better find him. The tears or laughter will come when the time is right, Senbecc, but for now do what is right for you and do what it is your spirit calls for you to do. Once again, my blessings upon him and all his people, my condolences for your loss and my praises for his life, and hope for you, Senbecc, in all that this great man entrusted you with...and which I know all of us here would leave with your ourselves, should the place have been ours.

Your gift for words is a good one Bran, I'm afraind however my peoples greif will be coming before my own, their needs must come first, and when they have finished I will deal with my own feelings. He was a father to me, and I won't let down his trust under any circumstances, I appriciate these words Bran...Very much.

I thank you for your words as well, Senbecc, for they mean a great deal to me. And in admitting that the grief of your family will at this time be placed before your own, you have already proven that you have the courage and strength to lead your people not only in times of peace and plenty, but also in those that are hard and foreboding. They, as we, are great in luck to count you as one of our number, Senbecc. You will not let him down, you will not let your people down, and after it is all said and done you shall look back and know that you did not let yourself down. I speak from my heart and my soul, Senbecc, and they go with the words to you and yours.

I am sorry for you John. I hope the ceremony and funeral are beautiful for Charles. I know how it feels to loss a loved one and know that a nice funeral can help in healing the soul.
May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of the gods behold you.
