Greetings from my wee knoll here in the green state of Ohio. My heritage is Irish/Celtic (German)with some Native American sprinkled here and there. Was taught old ways from my Grandmother and have been doing my own research on other beliefs/paths. I have been fortunate to have traveled the U.S. and have lived in many different states. hey, another ohioan. i was wondering if there were any. i'm an eclectic pagan from ohio. i was born and raised here, and have never left. my hometwon is a small city in central ohio that no one has ever heard of. we actually have one pagan shop about half a block from my house. i go to school in northern ohio, not too far from cleveland. as far as i know there aren't any pagan shops close by up here.

I'm from Reynoldsburg, OH. Which is one of the Suburbs of Columbus. My mom and her cousin are doing our family tree and just recently found that we are part Scottish. I am part Scottish, English, German, and Cherokee. i'm from not too far from reynoldsburg. newark to be exact. i have german, irish, cherokee, and scottish (that's a recent discovery) ancestors. i'm sure there's some english in there too.

Last year two good friends of mine opened New Age/Pagan bookstores in Hamilton and Oxford. With that in mind they donated boxes and boxes of books on the subject to the local Lane Library which is the 'hub' for the other Bulter county Land Libraries. You will not find a single one of those books that were donated on a Lane Library shelf. Since there wasn't a list of titles/authors written down they had no proof of the subjects of the books, only the monetary total to use for tax purpose. I wrote a letter to Lane Library with the request that they forfeit the usage of "PUBLIC" in any of their future correspondence for they surely have misplaced all the dictionaries and the meaning of the word is of no value to them. If you area member of a local Yahoo Group you may happen upon another member that will post they are cleaning out their collection and is willing to trade/sell certain titles. I have read those types of postings in the past. the newark public library has about 4-5 shelves of witchcraft and paranormal related books. i read, or at least looked through, most of them over the summer.

Books are fun....O.O
I'm from the Northern Georgia/Lower Tennessee area. The closest library around here is in Fort Oglethorpe and my car won't make it out of my driveway....

i am sorry to hear that! have you ever listened to books on tape/cd? well there are several online book clubs where you can place a order and they deliver it to you, keep it for as long as a month, and return it free of postage. i listened to alot while i was delivering pizzas!

true, its hard to listen to someone if it sounds bad. you have to have a good narrator. i look for ones done by people i have heard previously, and actors reading them makes for nice listening!
