How long was the break in the native trads in Norway?
i read 50 years but I cant find the damn book anywhere for ref's

Gods, so sorry, I haven't been around for so long.... apologies for the delay.
Ah, break in the traditions? I am not sure. Though the xtians got the kings to convert through various means and they subsumed so many heathens as they did everywhere else, the Norse traditions never really 'died', per se. It's hard to say really. There were two real points where, in
965 AD - Denmark
998 AD - Russian viking area
1000 - Iceland
turn xtian in an 'official' sense. Then, in the 1970's or so, citizens in nordic countries and America begin the revival. Between those times either private heathen practices were 'allowed' by the kings, or continued secretly.
