Sorry, I am a bit late at finding this one! My opinion I do believe they existed in this plane at one point and time...and even the same as a unicorn. I also believe that they are on another plane now. Why exactly they left or what forced them out...don't know. I could give you a story I made up from a vision I saw...but that is not fact just a short story! I honestly do not have any real evidence other then gut feelings and dreams that I do have! I watched a show on Discovery about archaeologist finding what they believe could have been a skeleton of a dragon...but were not clear enough on the origin or information about the skeleton to give and actual statement that it truly was. They went into a long documentary of how they could have "died off" and how they may have been around during dinosaur days and what not. Not sure of the factual information behind all of it other then theory...but it was interesting to watch non the less! I'm still of the mind that the physical evidence was dinosaurs, but I just had another thought I suppose (though I'm not sure I agree with my own idea). The great white's skeletal structure is 100% cartilage, I wonder *if* dragons ever existed outside of other realms then what if they had a similar design? How much of the skeleton would have survived?

How much of the skeleton would have survived? that was the argument on the show (even though it was all hypothetical). they theorized that in order for something that large to be able to fly it would have to have a skeletal system of hollow bones and cartilage. cartilage doesn't survive the fossilization process and hollow banes are too easily crushed to survive easily and reliably. any that did survive to be fossilized could easily be attributed to another animal if there's no other evidence to identitfy them.

Yes...that was the show I saw! I think part of the reason was that show & just the simple number of depictions from many different cultures across the world.

it was really well thought out and put together. i wish it were true. that would be awesome. Who says it's not...maybe we just have yet to find the actual truth! the story they presented was made up, but i think there are elements of truth in it. they approached dragons from a scietific view and expanded on the classic myths.

ok, so the gist is that dinosuars lived until the middle ages. that all dragon stories are based off of the dinos that were running around. dinosuars, and dragons, are symbols of satan. children's fascination with dinosuars is bad because it's the devil tempting them to his path. pagans want to irradicate christianity completely.
did i cover all of it?

fear breeds contempt. we fear that which we do not understand. It's something that I know many religions seem to want to cover up as their explanation of how Earth was buily might come crumbling down....They have a new telescope that can see galaxies forming....yes, worlds too. I forget what religion wants to prove the telecope is really a genius & an awesome computer!
