Ok so you know how it goes, right, you suddenly have to work on your night off, you have this night off cause of an 8 am class the next day but the new person needs training and due to his first job which really has no sense of humor nor cares about his second job cant train on the night you work.
so you drag in from work around 5 am and get two hours broken sleep before you drag yourself and your ton of books to school, you make it through the first two hours, which are computer literacy and (cringes) political science and think to yourself only 3 more classes and my day is done and sleep cant be far behind.
Ahh but alas your 3rd class of the day is canceled and your 4th class is (laughs) physical education development!
yep can skip that one!! but the last class of the day is that four letter word (whispers it) math!
and you know darn good and well that at this point 3 hours is stretching before you like a black whole into hell.
Bing bing!! Idea! yep leave message for math instructor and go home and sleep, after all this is college and not high school so they should understand about working and such,
yep yep
put idea into action and almost skip out the door , almost run to the car and almost break the speed limit to get to the bed that is calling your name in a loud yell now.
Ok so you get home and snuggle down into warm blankets and just pass out like the dead, wake up hours later feeling wonderful and refreshed.
Math instructor calls to give you the ;D home work assignment, you write it all down like a good little student and then get to work, but you realize something is terribly wrong , the pages of homework your doing dont seem to follow what was being taught when in math class the last time.
But you think well this is what the instructor gave me, so you do your best to muddle through new stuff that hasnt even been taught yet and are real proud of yourself for getting it done
Now its the next class day and your head off to math all chipper cause you managed to do work that hadnt been taught as yet.
But then what happens, your fellow students tell you when you ask that the work you did wasnt the assigned homework
ACK!!!!!!! ;D
So the moral of this little story is this
Even instructors who are supposed to be teaching you make mistakes
Never work all night when you have class the next day, no matter what, especially when your advancing in years as I am lmao!!!
and the last is, think really hard before missing a class no matter how tired you are lol
