For me, my birth totem is the skunk, my coming of age totem is the cat (big and small), also the Dragon and Unicorn/Horse (mythological and real). I feel an affinity toward several other animals, but not to the point of totems yet. However, since I'm entering a new phase of life (ie, middle age, I ain't old YET), I am expecting a new one at any time now.

For me the wolf has a very special meaning. I dont know why but i have allways been drawn to the wolves. I have also recently come to realise I have a connection with Owls. What they represent and symbolise seems...comfortable and reasuring for me.

Well my birth totem was the fox, and will always be the foremost of my totems(Heh, do to this I especially love the mythological kitsune of Japan). Since the Morrigan is and always will be my goddess, I am also sybolized by the Raven and all of its aspects as well, making it my 'spiritual totem'. It is in this way that I derived my true name, Bran meaning Raven and Sinnach meaning Fox. Out of respect for my two totems, I carry a staff whose main features are the carven fox head at the top of the staff, and a decoration of crow feathers bound to leather thongs in the staff. Lol, and before anyone asks, no I did not kill a crow to get the feathers. Thats another story that I might go into if anyones interested.

haha! How wonderfully lovely that Wren gave me a hard time, it made me venture out into the other threads... And, Here I am in totem land! Yay!!
Well, I have had Raven with me since I was 11 or 12..Perhaps before then, but, that's when I can recall noticing the precense...... This year, I made contact with the Snake, this totem is more of my shadow totem, This animal, I fear more than anything, and, I had some trouble accepting it. Which, let me tell you, was not a very good idea... The Snake just chose to traumatize me when I wouldn't accept it. I also have Okami, which is Japanese for Wolf, I don't know yet if Okami is part of my totem, or, if he is my guardian, I am just recently been getting to know him better... But, so far, these are who I've been shown and have been working with, they are quite a blessing

Well, Wren (obviously), Turtle (most recently), Wolf (interesting how many of us feel this), Butterfly and Dragonfly. Crow has made an appearance more than once and I've recently discovered a strong connection to The Morrigan as well, so I suppose that makes sense.
A hard time, lala??? That was nothing!

Mine are the bull, salmon, and the hawk. Though it has been suggested to me in the past that I have strong associations with the Stag as well. That one I'm not sure about.
Each of these came to me in a different manner, the bull who chased me, the Salmon who nourished my mind, and the hawk who guided me.
