does anyone know anything about how to protect your familiar from malicious entities or magickal/psychic attacks? a friend's cats' dissappearences coincide w/ strange occurances in the household. mostly dealing with a creepy entity that's been hanging around the house, the entity did not show up untill a strange man had come to the door. the cat almost always comes back injured in some way, either limping or a horrible abcess on his limbs. every time the cat comes home the stange entity goes away.

It sounds like it is as much the home that needs to be protected as the cat. I will work the "wards" spell I told you about and send it to you.

IMO cats see through the Veil, unlike our clouded vision. My familiar is quite good at staring at "entities". She sometimes unverves me! Is this an unaltered Tomcat? That could explain the wounds and disappearances. I usually put my hands on top of my cats heads before they go out and say "Goddess bless thee." It's become an automatic . I have in the past made them bead collars and hung a Talisman on it. Senbecc is right about warding the house. Fear and anger feed those spirits, they stay where they are fed.>^..^<
