I spoke to a Fundamentalist Christian, and he had a surprising take on the whole Adam and Eve thing. He felt that Eve was the stronger one, and that's why the "devil" used her to tempt the weaker person (Adam) If one looks at the Adam and Eve story very closely, you see that when the bite was taken from the apple, they became aware and "covered themselves." This suggests that A & E were kept "in the dark" for whatever reason. |

My mother had a kidney stone recently and she said she'd rather give birth. I guess it's because some kidney stones are sharp and tear everything in their path the entire length of their route out. I've always felt that their nudity was symbolic of innocence, once the bite was taken, there was not only a fall from paradise, but a fall from innocence as well. |

I thought he was gonna die until they got some pain meds in him. I was ready to take down that entire hospital as I thought they weren't moving fast enough to suit me (especially since my first thought was burst appendix)! Mother Lion comes out in me ....  |

I know what you mean, Moonwind. When my son was sick I was CRAZY. I was demanding, insistent, and on everyone's nerves until he was taken care of.

oh, wow, talk about love.
i go to a christian school....fun....nd some of my best friends are really christian but i even showed them the original link and they thought it was weird,
the thing that got me the most was the comment

As if you have to give things up to be 'men of god' the god, goddess, or what ever it was the created us, created us so we can live and enjoy and experiance, if they/it sent us here to give things up, why send us here??
